Ethan and I met in the same single's ward in Provo, Utah. We lived in the same apartment complex. He had lived there before, so he knew a lot of my friends already. I kept hearing about Ethan but didn't meet him till the summer of 2009. I was always walking past his apartment on my way to visit my brother, Tyler. Unfortunately, he didn't realize Tyler was my brother, so he thought that meant we were dating. Awkward! Once he realized this was not the case, he decided to pluck up the courage to talk to me! He told me he likes to go gold panning, and I thought he was such a nerd! But he asked me to go with him, so I did. We went gold panning in American Fork Canyon. He was so funny and genuinely nice and I couldn't help but notice I was drawn to him. I just wanted to be with him. So, we were together every day after that. We were with each other every day from the moment he got home from work. Its safe to say we both knew from the beginning we'd found the one we wanted to spend forever with. That Thanksgiving, Ethan took me to Odessa, Texas to meet his family. I fell in love with all of them! I could see he came from such a good family and I loved getting to know them and his friends. His family came to Utah for Christmas.
Things were going well, and on January 31, Ethan took me up to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, where he asked me to marry him!!
